This is one of my favorite tracks off of Daft Punk’s incredible Alive 2007 LP. As well as posting this incredible song, that was not the real purpose of this post. The real reason was to tell all of you (if you didn’t already know), Daft Punk are working on their next LP. They’ve begun to contact multiple artists to collaborate on their next work. This is not only awesome because they’re coming out with new material (I don’t count the Tron Soundtrack) but this may mean (I hope) that will go on tour this year or next. Although a 2 year span of waiting for them to go on tour is seems like a long wait, they haven’t gone on tour since 2007 (5 years). This is huge

I know this is called electronicutopia but believe it or not, I listen to much more than just electronic music. In fact, I grew up loving indie/folk music and Bon Iver has been one of my favorite artists since I discovered For Emma, Forever Ago in the winter of ‘08 (yes, I really did find him that early). My friends and I also went to his opening show for his follow up of the release of Bon Iver when he embarked on his 80-something day tour. Enjoy some stripped down Bon Iver tracks because if you’ve seen him live, you know how loud and grandiose he and 10 other members play on stage.
